Steelers Inactives For Eagles Game Includes 10 Players

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Philadelphia Eagles later on tonight and several players will not dress for the game.

As expected, tight end Eric Waters (concussion), cornerback Shaquille Richardson (knee), linebacker Jordan Zumwalt (groin), center Cody Wallace (finger) and long snapper Greg Warren (knee) will all miss the game with injuries.

Also sitting out Thursday night are safety Will Allen (hamstring), wide receiver Lance Moore (undisclosed), running back Tauren Poole (hamstring), fullback Will Johnson (hamstring) and cornerback Devin Smith (hamstring).

Defensive end Brett Keisel will dress for the game, but it will be surprising if he plays after just re-signing a few days ago. Also dressing and expected to play against the Eagles are running backs Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount.

Zum might get cut, he’s always hurt.

No Poole or Johnson? Wow, can you imagine if Bell and Blount weren’t playing? We’d have to forfeit the game.

3 WR set. Brown or Bryant?

  • cp72

I want it to be Bryant; but Brown probably deserves it more.

W Allen has to be getting close to the roster bubble with the time he has missed… Then again Tomlin does seem to have a man crush on him.

Man, shame about Poole.. with L.Moore out J.Brown and Bryant should get some good looks

  • steeltown

Yep, Molls might win himself a PS spot over Zumwalt at this point

  • RW

Archer seems like the better option to take Moore’s role in the slot.

I was thinking that too, but I’m guessing they’ll want to see Brown do something.
