Steelers WR Antonio Brown, CB Shaquille Richardson Have Tuesday Scuffle

It’s been several practices since we’ve had a fight to talk about but we now have a new one to discuss as Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown got into it with Shaquille Richardson early in the Tuesday session.

According to Alex Kozora, Brown took exception to something that Richardson did during drills and responded by throwing a right at the rookie out of Arizona.

Richardson, the first of two fifth-round selections back in May, was suspended by the Pac-12 in 2011 following him being ejected from the game against UCLA for fighting with 4 seconds left in the first half.

As for Brown, he’s no stranger to fighting with defensive backs during training camp as he got into a good scuffle with veteran cornerback Ike Taylor two years ago today.

The last thing the team needs is for Brown to break his hand while taking a swing at a rookie, so hopefully that’s the end of that scuffle.

Can’t wait to hear the details! Maybe a good sign that Shaq knows how to get under a WRs skin?

Good point! Definitely like the thought of that. I’m actually glad to hear this news about Shaq. Hope it means he’s competing and giving everything he has cause I’d really like to see him earn a spot on the 53 and move forward from there.
