Season 5, Episode 5 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I start use a good chunk of this show to discuss the Pittsburgh Steelers loss Saturday night to the New York Giants in their 2014 preseason opener.
We break down what we both observed on both sides of the football Saturday night and we start with the defense. Along the way, David and I update some interesting roster battles that are taking place right now. We spend a good deal of time talking about the linebackers and safeties once again.
The Steelers allowed a big play on defense Saturday night so that gets our attention before shifting over to talking about the offense. We talk about the play of several offensive linemen Saturday night along with the play of the backup quarterbacks. We don’t forget about the rookie draft picks, either, as we touch on nearly all of them in this episode.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
