Steelers Versus Panthers Week 3 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Carolina Panthers Sunday night and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Landry Jones – Nothing changes for Jones, who will be inactive once again Sunday night against the Panthers.

Dri Archer – The ankle injury that Archer suffered during the regular season opener against the Cleveland Browns is still limiting him in practice and as a result he ends the week listed as doubtful. Expect him to be one of the seven inactives.

Daniel McCullers – With starting nose tackle Steve McLendon able to overcome the shoulder injury that he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens, it’s hard to imagine that McCullers will get a helmet this week as the Steelers only normally dress five defensive linemen.

Martavis Bryant – The Steelers look to get Lance Moore back this week and that means they’re likely to dress five wide receivers. Even though he appears to be over his shoulder injury, Bryant will more than likely be inactive once again.

Chris Hubbard – Will Ramon Foster be healthy enough to play to Sunday night? I’m going to guess that he will be and as a result there will be no need for Hubbard to have a helmet.

Wesley Johnson – Regardless of what happens with Foster and Hubbard, Johnson will likely be inactive once again.

B.W. Webb – This last spot is very tough ti figure out with five wide receivers likely to dress Sunday night. I think the last spot will come down to Brice McCain or Webb. McCain is more experienced, so I think he gets the helmet over Webb.
