Audio: Week 9 Thursday Interview With David Todd On ESPN 970 Radio

Thursday afternoon I joined David Todd for an interview on his show that can be heard on ESPN 970 Radio. We covered several topics concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers as they head into their Sunday night game at Heinz Field against the Baltimore Ravens. We talk about Vince Williams seeing extended playing last week and also talk about how the Ravens gameplan might result in the Steelers playing a lot of base defense Sunday night. A few more talking points are also mixed in.

You can listed the interview below and make sure to tune in to David’s show that can be heard weekdays from 3-6 p.m. EST.

I’m going with a blowout and it’s not just cause Ben put up crazy numbers it’s cause they scored 51 points. This offense can be the best in the nfl and I knew it all along but I always said there was just one piece missing and that piece was martaves bryant.

    I’m going with steelers 35 ravens 20
Big Ben is gonna finally show everybody he is elite! I don’t think espn or NFL network even mentioned that he became the 4th QB to ever win 100 games in 150 starts only behind tom Peyton and Bradshaw. This is why I refuse to watch those networks anymore. They only talk about three QBs tom Peyton and romo. This is why I love steelers depot

35 – 20 isn’t a blowout. I think you’re being a little too optimistic, the Ravens are a better team in my opinion. The Ravens team as a whole will not be rattled at all. I expect the Steelers to win, but not in the fashion in which they did last Sunday. Steelers 24, Ravens 23.

Home field, Joe Greene’s ceremony and as long as the Steelers keep their foot on the gas there is no reason why Pitt doesn’t win but…..this has that classic let down feel, everybody is high on the team after the last two wins, Ravens with a weakened secondary and the potential for Pittsburgh to move into first place….I want to be optimistic but I something doesn’t feel right!
