Steelers Versus Titans Week 11 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Tennessee Titans Monday night at LP Field and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Ike Taylor – Taylor will miss his eighth straight game Monday night as he continues to recover from the broken forearm that suffered back in Week 3. After the bye week, I fully expect that Taylor will be cleared to return and that means he should be able to play against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13.

Steve McLendon – McLendon will miss the Monday night game against the Titans as he continues to be bothered by the shoulder injury that has already forced him to miss a few games this season. After the bye week, one would think that McLendon will be back in the starting lineup. With McLendon out Monday night, rookie Daniel McCullers is expected to make his first career start.

Shamarko Thomas – Thomas will miss yet another game Monday night with a hamstring injury. Like several of the other walking wounded, one would think that Thomas will be back for the Saints game.

Troy Polamalu – Polamalu will miss a second straight game with a knee injury and veteran Will Allen will once again start in his place. we can only hope that he will be able to return after the bye week.

Ryan Shazier – Shazier has yet to shake his ankle injury and like the other injured players on this list, he was ruled out on the injury report. The Steelers first-round draft pick has only played in five games this season.

Landry Jones – Jones remains a permanent fixture on the Steelers inactive list and will not dress Sunday night.

Chris Hubbard  – With it looking like safety Ross Ventrone will make it back this week from his hamstring injury, I think Hubbard will be inactive. This is really the only spot on the inactive list this week where any guessing is involved. If hubbard is indeed down, that will result in both wide receiver Justin Brown and cornerback B.W. Webb dressing against the Titans.
