Ben Roethlisberger Goes Over 4,000 Yards Passing On Season In Win Over Bengals

With three games remaining in the 2014 season, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has now thrown for 4,055 yards. Assuming he stays healthy, he will easily pass his single-season record of 4,328 that he set in 2009.

Roethlisberger, who completed 66.6% of his passes in 2009, has completed 66.5% of the passes that he’s attempted so far this season.

Roethlisberger threw three touchdown passes Sunday in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals and that gives him 29 on the season. He now only needs four more touchdown passes to set a new single-season best as he threw 32 in 2007.

With his 350 yards passing Sunday, Roethlisberger (38,160) passed Dave Krieg and Boomer Esiason on the NFL Career Passing Yards Leaders list. He now sits 16th overall on the list.
