Steelers Exit Week 14 As Fifth Seed In AFC

In addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, several other games around the league broke their way as well and as a result they’ll now enter Week 15 as the fifth seed in the AFC.

The Steelers entered Week 14 as the 10th place team in the AFC, but thanks to the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills all losing on Sunday they leaped up five spots and back into playoff picture.

Even thought the Baltimore Ravens won Sunday, the Steelers jumped them in the seeding as well due to them having a better record in the AFC North division.

As far as key divisional games go in Week 15, the Ravens will host the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Cleveland Browns will host the Bengals. In other key AFC matchups, the Chiefs will host the Oakland Raiders while the Chargers will host the Denver Broncos. The Bills will also host the Green Bay Packers while the Dolphins have to go on the road to play the New England Patriots.

The Steelers will be on the road again next Sunday as they will play the Atlanta Falcons.
