Steelers Injury Report: Ike Taylor Doubtful For Falcons Game; James Harrison Questionable

The Pittsburgh Steelers have wrapped up their Friday practice and the final injury report offers up no real surprises.

Cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm) ends the week listed as doubtful for the Sunday game against the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor pulled himself out of the game last week against the Cincinnati Bengals because he was injured and ineffective and it looks like he will be inactive this week.

Linebacker James Harrison (knee), who missed the game last week against the Bengals, ends the week listed as questionable. Now that the Steelers have Jarvis Jones back, there’s no reason to rush Harrison back if he’s not fully healthy. Last week, Jones and Arthur Moats split playing time at right outside linebacker and we could to see that happen again Sunday against the Falcons.

Ending the week listed as probable are tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), cornerback William Gay (quadricep), defensive end Cameron Heyward (not injury related), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related), quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related) and center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle).

Pouncey had been added to the injury report on Thursday, but it appears as if he’s good to go this week as he practiced fully on Friday.

As for Gilbert, it looks like he will return this week after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.
