2015 Pro Bowl: Steelers’ Brown Records 6 Catches For Team Carter In Loss

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan connected with New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham on a one-yard touchdown pass with 3:10 left in the fourth quarter to help Team Irvin beat Team Carter 32-28 in the 2015 Pro Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ.

Ryan, who entered the game in the third quarter, completed 11-of-16 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns as Team Irvin overcame a 28-19 deficit for the win.

In addition to his game-winning catch, Graham also caught another touchdown pass in the game from Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was named the offensive MVP of the game after throwing for the second-most yards in Pro Bowl history (316).

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was named the defensive MVP of the game as he recorded one interception, one fumble and four defensed passes for Team Carter.

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons, one of three Pittsburgh Steelers players that played in the Pro Bowl, finished with a game-high nine total tackles in a losing effort. It was Timmons first appearance in a Pro Bowl game.

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who served as a team captain for Team Carter along with Watt, caught six passes in the game for 98 yards. Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey also saw a considerable amount of playing time for the losing team.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders caught five passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns for Team Irvin.

The 2015 Pro Bowl was unconferenced for a second straight year as teams were determined via a fantasy-style draft earlier in the week. The game once again featured competitive play by both sides.

Members of Team Irvin, including coaches, earned $55,000 for winning the game. All members of Team Carter will get $28,000.
