The 2014 Associated Press All-Pro team was announced Friday and it includes three Pittsburgh Steelers players.
Wide receiver Antonio Brown, running back Le’Veon Bell and center Maurkice Pouncey all made the All-Pro team as voted on by a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the league.
Brown was listed on 49 of 50 ballots, while Bell made it on 44 of them. Pouncey was listed on 21.
Linebacker Lawrence Timmons earned second-team All-Pro honors.
This is the first time Brown and Bell have been named to the first team of the Associated Press All-Pro team. Last season, however, Brown did earn second-team honors.
As for Pouncey, he is now a two-time first-team All-Pro player as he received the honor once before in 2011. He also was voted second-team All-Pro in 2010 and 2012.
As far as Timmons goes, who was voted to his first Pro Bowl this season, this is the first time during his career he’s received any All-Pro votes.
