Steelers DE Brett Keisel To “Shear Da Beard” For Charity For A Fifth Time

For a fifth year in a row, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel will shave his famous beard for a charity and it could be the last time he does so as an active player following a season.

As usual, Jergel’s Bar and Grille will host the annual “Mountain Man Makeover” event on Feb. 4, and all proceeds will benefit the Cancer Centers of UPMC and the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospitals.

Several Steelers players, both former and current, along with several other special guests are expected to be on hand once again to take part in the shaving of Keisel’s beard. There will also be live musical performances from Donnie Iris and Fathertime.

Doors will open to the annual 21 and older event at 6 p.m. and the beard shearing is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. A $50 donation will gain you entrance into the event and cover your first drink.

I addition to the entertainment, a live silent auction will be held. Tickets can be purchased directly from the Jergel’s website. www.tickets.jergels.com.
