The Terrible Podcast – Talking Media Day, Bettis HOF Chances, Steelers Above Average Players & More

terriblepodcast

Season 5, Episode 71 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I get right into talking about what happened Tuesday at Super Bowl media day. This includes us discussing how much media is too much media and whether or not all players from both teams should be forced to take part in it.

We will find out in a few more days whether or not former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis will be elected into the Pro Bowl Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2015 so David and I discuss his chances along with the chances of the other 14 modern era finalists.

What did the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks both do so well this season that resulted in them making the Super Bowl? We discuss that topic and take a look at the sacks compiled by both of their defenses.

Pro Football Focus did an interesting study for ESPN.com recently so David and I discuss that. In doing so we discuss the future of several young Steelers players as we try to figure out how many more above-average players they need in order to make a run at the Super Bowl next season.

As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
