Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell Is Not A Mel Kiper Jr. Fan

Judging by a Tuesday night post on his Twitter account, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell doesn’t appear to be a big fan of ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. and you can read that tweet below.

So what did Kiper Jr. have to say about Bell back in December of 2012? According to Mike Griffith of MLive.com, the long-time major media draftnik spoke very positive about the Michigan State product.

“He’s a very patient runner, you look at how he wears the defense down, his body lean, he gets 2 yards when you think he’s stopped,” Kiper Jr. said. “He’s deceptively quick, he allows the hole to develop. He doesn’t have a great initial burst….he’s in the second-round discussion.”

In January of 2014, Kiper jr. revisited the Steelers 2013 draft and again he spoke highly of Bell.

“The impact pick was Bell, who finished the season with 860 yards rushing after missing the first few weeks,” he wrote.

Maybe Kiper Jr. said something about a current Michigan State product recently that didn’t sit well with Bell.

Every time I see Kiper Jr. criticism, I always think about this:
