Steelers Colbert, Tomlin To Hold Annual Pre-Draft Press Conference Monday

The Pittsburgh Steelers have now wrapped up their pre-draft visits and on Monday, general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin will hold their pre-draft press conference.

The annual meeting with the local media is scheduled to begin at noon and you can watch it live on steelers.com.

As usual, you shouldn’t expect Colbert and Tomlin to reveal much of anything draft related during their press conference as they never like to talk about individual players. Colbert, however, is likely talk about how many players are on their final draft board and a little bit about the process leading up to the 2015 NFL Draft.

While the press conference is supposed to be centered around the draft, one would think that both Colbert and Tomlin will be asked about the current situation with wide receiver Antonio Brown and whether or not they expect him to take part in any of the voluntary workouts and practices leading up to the team’s June mandatory minicamp. Additionally, I would expect both will be asked to comment on the recent retirements of safety Troy Polamalu and cornerback Ike Taylor.

You might expect that the two will be asked to talk a little bit about the current state of the roster now that it appears as though all of the transactions have been completed.

As usual, we’ll have a full recap of the Monday press conference complete with all of the talking points as soon as it is over.
