James figures to do battle this summer with Rob Blanchflower for the third tight end on the Steelers depth chart. He is now the fifth Steelers draft pick that has been signed as Senquez Golson, Doran Grant, Anthony Chickillo and L.T. Walton have already come to terms on their rookie deals.

Like the pick but the kid needs a lot of work. Doesn’t seem very good as a passer since he doesn’t look very athletic. Heath can coach him up big time.

He was a top performer in the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump and 60yd shuttle… still only 20yrs old, I think in 2-3yrs time this kid could be something special, personally

A lot of people think his ceiling is Spaeth. I totally disagree. Granted, talk like this depends on the work ethic of the player, but I think his ceiling is Heath’s replacement, and a better version.

I wont go that far, but he could definitely be Spaeth 2.0

Yes, all those combine stats are great but as you know its on the field that matters. I like the kid and I like the pick but he’s no Heath. He can definitely get to be better than Spaeth would love nothing more than he become as good as Heath…but that’s does not seem likely.

There can be only One HEATH MILLER
