Bengals Injury Report: Adam Jones, George Iloka Still Sidelined On Thursday

The Cincinnati Bengals released their Thursday injury report a few hours ago and four players failed to practice earlier in the day.

Sitting out Thursday were wide receiver Mario Alford (not injury related), linebacker Vontaze Burfict (not injury related), safety George Iloka (groin), and cornerback Adam Jones (foot).

Despite saying on Wednesday that he wouldn’t be play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jones reportedly had his cast cut off on Thursday. In other words, we’ll have to wait until Friday to see if he is ruled out on the final injury report.

Burfict was added to the injury report on Thursday but it’s only because he was given the day off to rest.

Tackle Jake Fisher (concussion) and cornerback Leon Hall (back) were both limited on Thursday. Fisher is a new addition to the injury report.

Practicing fully on Thursday were guard Clint Boling (neck), tight end Tyler Eifert (neck), tight end Ryan Hewitt (knee), cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), and cornerback Josh Shaw (back).

Bungles been lucky with injuries all year, can’t possibly continue

  • DoctorNoah

I will be sad if Eifert scores on Sunday. This should be the week we figure out how to cover tight ends.

Oh no! The Bengals actually have injuries now!

    They’re pulling a Belichick.

  • PaeperCup

They actually held Eifert in check last time. But that’s definitely a scary matchup

I hope the Steelers get some payback no matter who is wearing the bungle colors. This one is for Bell. Deebo needs to hit dalton early and hard. throw him into panic mode.

There’s some scuttlebutt on twitter about how Jones and Iloka won’t play Sunday and that Hall will be questionable. That could be huge for the Steelers.
