2016 Senior Bowl Weekend: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday once again to all of you and I hope your week went well.

We are now almost one full week away from the Super Bowl and 90 full days away from the 2016 NFL Draft. We do have the Senior Bowl this weekend, so at least we’ll have some meaningful football to watch. That game will be followed Sunday by the meaningless Pro Bowl.

As always, I have five questions for you to answer on this late January Friday night and I hope several of you will oblige me with your answers in the comments below.

Have a great weekend and peace and love to all of you.

1 – On Thursday, Pittsburgh Steelers team president Art Rooney II hinted that the organization might actually make some sort of a significant free agent splash during the offseason. Assuming that actually comes to fruition, will the Steelers sign a free agent cornerback, safety or one of each to a significant contract or contracts?

2 – Is the NFL game currently over-officiated in your opinion, or does it just need to be officiated more consistently?

3 – True or false: The Steelers will not extend the contract of wide receiver Antonio Brown until after the 2016 season.

4 – When it comes to the draft this year, would you consider the inside linebacker position more of a need, or more of a want when talking about the Steelers.

5 – Name two players you look forward to seeing play in Saturday’s Senior Bowl that might be good fits for the Steelers.

Bonus – Will you watch ANY of the Pro Bowl this weekend?
