Steelers Enter Playoffs With 10/1 Odds To Win Super Bowl 50

Now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have made the playoffs, their odds of winning Super Bowl 50 have improved.

After entering Week 17 with 12/1 odds by the Las Vegas Super Book to win their seventh Lombardi Trophy, the Steelers are now listed at 10/1 by Bovada.

The Steelers will play the Cincinatti Bengals Saturday night in one of the two AFC Wild Card games and their division rival is currently listed at 25/1 to win the Super Bowl this year. The Bengals will more than likely have to start backup quarterback A.J. McCarron against the Steelers, who could be without starting running back DeAngelo Williams due to a right ankle that he suffered during the team’s regular season finale.

As you would probably expect, the two teams with first round byes in the AFC, the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, both have better odds at winning Super Bowl 50 than the Steelers do. Additionally, both of those teams are currently listed at 2/1 odds to win the AFC this year while the Steelers are third in the conference with 9/2 odds to represent the conference in the big game.

Should the Steelers wind up beating the Bengals Saturday night, they will play the Broncos on the road the following weekend in the divisional round of the playoffs. A win in that game would likely set up an AFC Championship game against the Patriots, who beat the Steelers at home in Week 1 to open up the 2015 season.
