Tuitt Loses Notre Dame/Ohio State Bet, Wears OSU Jersey

Just a little something fun for you Steelers’ Nation to take the edge off the nerves from today’s games. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got blown out by the Ohio State Buckeyes on New Years’ Day, falling 44-28. Evidently, a fun wager was created between Steelers’ players and Stephon Tuitt – a Notre Dame alum – came out on the losing end.

His punishment? Wear an Ohio State jersey. This from Will Allen’s Instagram. Allen, of course, attended OSU.

I knew @stuitt always wanted to be a #buckeye so I had to lend him my jersey!! #GoBucks

There isn’t even any company for Tuitt’s misery. He is the only Irish alumni on the current roster. There are several Buckeyes to take joy in Ohio State’s victory: Allen, Ryan Shazier, Cameron Heyward, Doran Grant, and Mike Adams.

A Steelers’ playoff berth should pick up 91’s spirits though.
