Season 7, Episode 23 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I recap the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Heinz Field.
David and I kick things off by going over the Steelers post-game injury report as the team suffered a few new ones Sunday night in their win over the Chiefs.
We move to talk about the game and first focus on the play of the defense and several players on that side of the football who performed well. We discuss whether or not we are ready to say the defense should have our confidence at this point moving forward as well.
We move on to talk about the play on the offensive side of the football in addition to talking about the return of running back Le’Veon Bell. Guard B.J. Finney also receives some kudos from us in this show for the way he played in his first career start.
We discuss a few stats from the big win over the Chiefs and how running back DeAngelo Williams was used along with Bell Sunday night.
Wide receiver Antonio Brown received another celebration penalty Sunday night so we discuss that in addition to the rules related to it.
We end the show talking about how long several offensive starters wound up playing even though the game was well in hand in the fourth quarter.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
