2016 NFL Week 9: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all of you and welcome to the first weekend of November. It feels like it’s been a month since Pittsburgh Steelers have played a game but that will change in a few days as they are now set to face the Baltimore Ravens Sunday on the road. Now we sit and wait to find out if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will play in that game and one would hope we will know his exact status by late Saturday night.

I evidently predicted a 17-16 Steelers overtime win on the Friday podcast, but obviously meant a 19-16 overtime win. Lol! We’ll see.

As usual, I have five questions for you to answer on this Friday night and I hope several of you will do just that in the comments below.

Have a great weekend and here’s to us potentially talking about a Steelers win Sunday afternoon. Peace and love to all of you.

1 – Roethlisberger has historically played poorly in games that have taken place in Baltimore in addition to first games back from injury. With that noted and assuming he does play Sunday, predict Roethlisberger’s final stat line against the Ravens.

2 – If the Steelers beat the Ravens on Sunday, predict the defensive player we will be talking about the most on Monday and why.

3 – The Steelers defense has struggled defending the run in their last two games but figure to get defensive end Cameron Heyward back for Sunday’s game. Additionally, we should see Heyward, linebacker Ryan Shazier and safety Robert Golden all on the field together quite a bit against the Ravens and that’s something that hasn’t happened a lot so far this season. With the above in mind, how many total yards will the Ravens rush for Sunday against the Steelers?

4 – How many total yards from scrimmage will Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le’Veon Bell have combined against the Ravens?

5 – Will one or more of these things happen Sunday in Baltimore? A Safety – A Blocked field goal or punt – A field goal of 55 yards or longer – A punt or kickoff return longer than 59 yards
