AFC North Week 11 Recap: Steelers Win While Ravens, Bengals Both Suffer Losses

AFC NORTH TEAMS

Sunday was a great day for the Pittsburgh Steelers as not only did they break their four-game losing streak with their win over the Cleveland Browns, the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals suffered losses in their Week 11 games.

The Ravens lost 27-17 to the Dallas Cowboys Sunday on the road and are now 5-5 on the season. Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott completed 27 of his 36 pass attempts in the game for 301 yards. He threw three touchdowns passes against the Ravens with two of them going to wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Bryant ended the game with 6 catches for 80 yards against a Ravens defense that was without cornerback Jimmy Smith, who missed the game due to an injury. Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott also rushed for 97 yards in his team’s win.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco completed 23 of his 35 pass attempts in the game for 269 yards and a touchdown in his team’s loss. Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. caught 8 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

The Bengals lost 16-12 to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and they’re now 3-6-1 on the season

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was 24 of 43 passing in the loss for 207 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in his team’s loss to the Bills.

The Bengals also suffered a significant injury in their loss to the Bills as it’s being reported that wide receiver A.J. Green sustained a tear in his hamstring. Green was carted off the field following an incomplete pass in the first quarter and he’s expected to undergo an MRI early this coming week to determine the significance of it.

In AFC North action next week, the (5-5) Steelers will play the (5-5) Indianapolis Colts Thanksgiving night on the road. The Colts beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17 Sunday at home.

The Ravens will host the Bengals next Sunday while the still winless Browns will host the (7-3) New York Giants.

Due their win over the Steelers a few weeks ago, the Ravens will enter Week 12 as the leaders of the AFC North division.
