2016 NFL Championship Round Weekend: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all of you once again from Las Vegas where it’s been raining all day.

Well, here we are now a little less than 48 hours from the AFC Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots and by now your blood should be flowing through your veins pretty good.

The NFL Network decided to show the 2001 and 2004 AFC Championship games earlier today and man was that depressing. It certainly would be great to beat those assholes this time around.

Quite a bit has changed for the Steelers since they lost to the Patriots back in Week 7 and needless to say for the better. I would have bet you a sizable amount of money after that game that the Steelers wouldn’t ultimately be playing in the AFC Championship game. Personally, I think the coaching staff has done a fine job of getting this team to this point.

As usual, I have some questions for you to answer on this Friday and this week I have included two bonus ones. Please take some time to answer each in the comments below.

Have a great rest of your weekend and hopefully come Sunday night we’ll be getting ready for one last Steelers’ game.

1 – Below are Sunday’s prop numbers for Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and I want you to guess whether or not he’ll be over or under for each of them.

Total Passing Yards: 270.5

Total Completions: 23.5

Total Touchdown Passes: 1.5

Total Interceptions: .5

2 – Below are Sunday’s prop numbers for Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell and I want you to guess whether or not he’ll be over or under for each of them.

Total Rushing Yards: 110.5

Total Rushing & Receiving Yards: 150.5

3 – Of the Steelers players not named Roethlisberger, Bell or Antonio Brown, name me one player who could ultimately wind up being the hero of Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

4 – If you could ask any Steelers coach any one question and get an honest answer, which one would you choose and what would your question be?

5 – What is one under-the-radar aspect of Sunday’s game that a lot of analysts aren’t focusing in on that they should be?

Bonus – Are you more worried about the Steelers offense or their defense ahead of Sunday’s game?

Double Bonus – If the Steelers beat the Patriots on Sunday, are you hoping they play the Green Bay Packers or the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI?
