Steelers Injury Update: No Injuries Reported By Tomlin After Win Over Chiefs

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 18-16 Sunday in the Divisional Round of the playoffs and they’ll now move on to play the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game. On top of winning the game, it appears as though the Steelers got out of Kansas City without suffering any injuries.

During his post-game press conference, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin didn’t deliver an injury recap so that’s normally a great sign. Additionally, there were not any injury updates delivered from the Steelers public relations department during the game that I saw.

The Steelers had four players miss Sunday’s game against the Chiefs due to injuries and they were linebacker Anthony Chickillo (ankle), defensive end Ricardo Mathews (ankle), tight end Ladarius Green (concussion) and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint (concussion).

Tomlin will likely hold his next press conference on Tuesday and at that time is expected to give a health update for the Steelers road game against the Patriots.
