The Terrible Podcast – Talking Kevin Colbert Comments, Steelers Free Agents, Draft Prospects & More

Season 7, Episode 81 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we kick things off by going over all the things Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert had to say Thursday during his talk with the local media.

Colbert gave us quite a bit to discuss and that includes us talking about wide receiver Antonio Brown, running back Le’Veon Bell, quarterback Landry Jones, linebacker Lawrence Timmons, cornerback Senquez Golson and tight end Ladarius Green and their immediate futures.

Colbert also somewhat talked about the future of the quarterback position in Pittsburgh so we go over what he had to say about that topic and what it might ultimately mean when it comes the draft this year.

After recapping Colbert’s comments, Alex lines up the first four rounds of the Steelers 2017 draft when it comes to positional needs. We also discuss what a two-down linebacker is and isn’t in today’s episode.

We save quite a bit of time at the end of this episode to go over several of the draft prospects that both of us have broken down over the course of the last week.

As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.

Why can’t Alex present the Craig Achtzehn, 1st Advantage Mortgage ads?

Landry’s got a pretty cushy gig. It took him four years to look decent in the Steelers’ offense. If I were him I would stay put for three more years and maybe, just maybe he can improve to the point where he would be considered a viable starting option after Ben.
