Steelers Host Two More Defensive Linemen For Pre-Draft Visits

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting two more pre-draft visitors on Monday and both are defensive linemen

According to Bob Labriola of steelers.com, former LSU defensive lineman Greg Gilmore and former Delaware defensive lineman Bilal Nichols are in Pittsburgh Monday visiting with the Steelers.

Gilmore, who was not invited to the combine this year, reportedly measured in at his pro day at 6032, 305-pounds and ran his 40-yard-dash in 5.14-seconds. He did 21 reps on the bench as well. In his four seasons at LSU he registered 104 total tackles of which 13 resulted in lost yardage. He also had 10 sacks and two defensed passes. There’s a chance Gilmore goes undrafted this year.

As for Nichols, who measured in at the combine at 6036, 306-pounds, he ran his 40-yard-dash in 4.95-seconds in addition to doing 29 reps on the bench while in Indianapolis. In is four seasons at Delaware he registered 129 total tackles of which 18 resulted in lost yardage. He also had 12 sacks and 9 pass breakups. He’s expected to be a day-three selection in this year’s draft.
