The Wednesday injury report for the Tennessee Titans is now out as they prepare to host the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night in Nashville.
As expected, quarterback Jake Locker (left shoulder), running back Javon Ringer (knee), and tackle Mike Otto (knee) all were officially ruled out.
Linebacker Colin McCarthy (ankle) did not practice again Wednesday and is officially listed as questionable. Titans head coach Mike Munchak said Tuesday that he expected McCarthy to play, so he now looks to be a game-time decision and would be a huge loss on defense for the Titans if he can't go.

The Wednesday injury report for the Pittsburgh Steelers is now out as the team prepares to travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans Thursday night.
Not practicing again were safety Troy Polamalu (calf) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring). Both players are listed as out for the game as expected. Polamalu reinjured his calf in the first half of the game Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, while Woodley suffered a mild hamstring in the game.
With Polamalu out, the Steelers are expected to rotate Ryan Mundy and Will Allen in his place. Jason Worilds will start at left outside

The Tuesday injury report for the Tennessee Titans is now out as they prepare to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night.
Quarterback Jake Locker (left shoulder), linebacker Colin McCarthy (ankle), tackle Mike Otto (knee) and running back Javon Ringer (knee) all sat out on Tuesday. The Pittsburgh Steelers were back on the practice field Tuesday after having Monday off in preparation for their Thursday night game on the road against the Tennessee Titans.
The Steelers did not practice on Monday and only had to turn in a participation estimation report because of the short week, but the Tuesday report is now out per Will Graves of the Associated Press.
As expected, safety Troy Polamalu (calf) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) both did not practice on Tuesday. Polamalu is certain not to play Thursday night after reinjuring his right calf early in the Sunday game

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker will not play Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Terry McCormick via Twitter.
The second year quarterback will miss his second straight game with a dislocated left shoulder that he suffered against Houston Texas back in week 4.
With Locker out it, veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will make his second start. Hasselbeck was 26-of-43 passing for 200 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the Titans 30-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media on Monday to discuss the win Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles and preview the upcoming game this Thursday against the Tennessee Titans.
During his injury update Tomlin said that the team came out of the Sunday game with some bumps and bruises. Safety Troy Polamalu (calf) reinjured his right calf and he will probably be deemed out for the Thursday game because it being a short week and the nature of the injury. He will be evaluated further when they can back from Tennessee.

Injuries are hitting the Pittsburgh Steelers hard in the first half of their game against the Philadelphia Eagles as linebacker LaMarr Woodley has now left the game with an injured hamstring.
The Steelers defense already has lost safety Troy Polamalu in the game due to a calf injury and it appears both players might be out for the game.
Woodley missed several games last season to hamstring injury suffered against the New England Patriots.
Cornerback Ike Taylor appeared to have injured his lower back in addition, but did return to the game.

Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu might have re-injured his calf in the the first half of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Polamalu, who sat out the last two games because of a calf strain, hopped off of the field on one leg after the Steelers recovered a fumble by Eagles quarterback Michael Vick.
Polamalu has been replaced in the game by Ryan Mundy and we will update his status shortly.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison is all set to make his season debut Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles and it seems as if he might have to cope with that left knee of his moving forward.
“Yeah, definitely I will be ready for Sunday,” said Harrison on Friday. “It felt good, especially on Monday. I was able to make it through the week without any problems. I was able to cope with what my knee was doing. I wasn’t reacting to it as much as I had before. I am just happy to be able to get back out there and contribute to help this team win."

The Philadelphia Eagles Friday injury report is now out and it shows that linebacker Akeem Jordan (hamstring) will be out Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a hamstring injury. Jordan will again be replaced in the Eagles lineup by Jamar Chaney (knee), who is listed as probable after practicing fully again on Friday.
Defensive tackle Derek Landri (knee), safety Colt Anderson (knee) and tackle King Dunlap (hamstring) are all listed as questionable, but all three players practiced fully on Friday and are expected to suit up on Sunday.

The Friday injury report for the Pittsburgh Steelers is now out and it shows that linebacker James Harrison (knee), safety Troy Polamalu (calf), running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee), and tackle Marcus Gilbert (groin) all practiced fully with all four players being listed as probable.
Harrison told the media on Friday, "Yeah definitely, I'll be ready for Sunday."

The Friday injury report for the Pittsburgh Steelers will be out shortly, but linebacker James Harrison let it be known today that he will make his season debut Sunday at Heinz Field against the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to the Associated Press, Pittsburgh Steelers rookie offensive guard David DeCastro is optimistic he’ll return at some point this season from a severe knee injury suffered in the preseason against the Buffalo Bills.
The report states that DeCastro is feeling better and that he reportedly is walking without a brace with his rehab currently keeping him limited to riding a stationary bike.
The Stanford product is attending team meetings, but has yet to be cleared to run yet. "I don't have any pain, so I'm just working hard to try to get back," DeCastro said.

Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Monday via Twitter that safety Da'mon Cromartie-Smith, who is currently on the practice squad, was spotted on crutches today. Kaboly adds that the Texas El-Paso product couldn't put any weight on his foot.
Depending on the severity of the injury, the Steelers might be forced to make a practice squad move as early as Tuesday. The team is currently carrying 5 safeties on the 53 man roster and that includes Troy Polamalu, who has missed the last two games due to a calf injury.
