Steelers RB Willie Parker likely to sit out week 8 versus Giants
Steelers RB Willie Parker may not play on Sunday against the New York Giants. Parker, who hasn’t suited up since injuring his left knee in the loss to Philadelphia, was very limited at what he could do at practice on Thursday. It appears more and more likely that RB Mewelde More will make his third straight start at running back for the Steelers. After practice the Thursday practice session, Parker refused to speak to reporters. Parker did practice Wednesday, but apparently suffered another setback because he hardly practiced Thursday. Parker is likely to be held out of practice today.
