Episode #59 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I find a few football things to talk about during this current dead period. Episode #58 of The Terrible Podcast is up and in Part 1 David Todd and I open by discussing the canceling of the NFL rookie symposium which was to be held a month from now in Canton, Ohio. While most of these young guys have their heads on straight, this was a useful event. It is now another casualty of the lockout. Episode #54 of The Terrible Podcast is up and in this special edition podcast I interview the Steelers 2011 7th round draft pick Baron Batch, running back from Texas Tech. Baron discusses how he has been received thus far by Steeler Nation since being drafted on Saturday and talks a little about spending draft day with his father in New Orleans and his reaction when he got the call that the Steelers had drafted him. We take a look at the Steelers four picks (Cortez Allen, Chris Carter, Keith Williams, Baron Batch) and come to the conclusion that two are locks to make the team and two will have to be impressive in camp to secure a roster spot.
