Friday was the final Pittsburgh Steelers training camp practice open to the public and the now the process of breaking camp begins. This special edition of The Terrible Podcast will be the last until next year and thanks to news on Friday that running back Rashard Mendenhall and nose tackle Casey Hampton were removed from the PUP list, I certainly have a ton to talk about.
The first part of this podcast I walk through all of the angles as to why Mendenhall may have been removed from the PUP list and tell you my reasoning why it all still does not add up in my head based on everything we have

Season 3, Episode 5 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and dive right into more talk on both James Harrison and Jason Worilds and the injuries to players heading into the second preseason game of the year for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
More offensive line talk as we are both surprised Mike Adams is back so soon. More running back talk is included and unfortunately our recording took place prior to the word that Rashard Mendenhall was activated Friday from the PUP list.
We also talk about what we are looking for this Sunday in the game against the Colts and David shares some

The end of training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers is near with just one more practice that is open to the public remaining on Friday. With co-host David Todd in Oregon tonight and most of the Pittsburgh media worn out, you once again get me flying solo. Hurray!
I go through all of the news and notes from the Thursday practice and spend more time talking about both James Harrison and Jason Worilds, as it looks more and more likely that that both could miss the week one in Denver. Could this mean that Adrian Robinson snags a spot on the 53 man roster? Maybe, just maybe.
Make sure to listen

The Pittsburgh Steelers only have two more practices remaining before they break camp and thus the special edition of The Terrible Podcast are starting to wind down. My co-host David Todd did four hours of radio today, so tonight you get me flying solo for almost 30 minutes.
The big news on Wednesday of course was that linebacker James Harrison had the scope procedure done on his knee, so I talk about that to start the show. Isaac Redman is also having an issue with his groin, so that gets my attention as well in this episode. Although there was not too much reported from the Wednesday practice

Season 3, Episode 5 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off by talking about the state of the offensive line right now heading into the second preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. That talk turns to more of a focus on Max Starks as news breaks during our recording of the show that Starks has been removed from the PUP list as of today.
Some more news comes in during the show about Mike Wallace, which really isn't new news, but we briefly discuss it just the same as we can't go an episode without discussing his situation. We move on to talk about the decision

The Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday training camp practice included quite a few things to talk about, so we reached out once again to Ken Laird of Trib Live Radio to fill us in on the sights and sounds that he observed Sunday at Latrobe.
We start off by talking about the fight between Ike Taylor and Antonio Brown that had two rounds to it. Ken tells us what all started it, how it ended, what Mike Tomlin thought about it and if he thinks the two are over it now. Speaking of Taylor, he had two interceptions today according to Ken.
Sunday also featured another goal-line drill, so Ken walks us through

The Pittsburgh Steelers were back on the practice field Saturday for the first time since their 24-23 loss Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles and my co-host David Todd was right there with them to take in the action.
To start this Saturday special edition of The Terrible Podcast we start off talking about the knee injury suffered by rookie left tackle Mike Adams and how it shook up the starting offensive line combination used on Saturday as Marcus Gilbert flipped over to left tackle and Ramon Foster took his spot at right tackle. As it looks right now the starting five against the

Season 3, Episode 4 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off by talking about the Friday news that Pittsburgh Steelers restricted free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace is currently down in Florida working out under the watchful eye of trainer Tom Shaw and could very well report to training camp soon. What kind of time frame is "soon" anyway? Regardless, we give our thoughts on it.
After the weekly Wallace talk, we move on to start talking about the Steelers 24-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night and cover both the offensive and defensive sides of the

Season 3, Episode 3 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off the show by looking at the first Pittsburgh Steelers depth chart of the 2012 season and how it is hard to read anything into it.
We move on to talk about the comments that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made in regard to first round draft pick David DeCastro and if there is any reason to be alarmed. The name of Plaxico Burress will not got away right now thanks to the media, so David and I weigh in on our thoughts about the possibility of him returning to Pittsburgh. As I pointed out a few days ago, it is

There is not a whole lot to talk about Sunday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers were forced to travel to their indoor facility today to get their practice in because of the weather. The media was allowed to observe practice, but there was a social media ban on them as a result. Because of that, the information is very thin from what went on today.
The episode today is mostly a recap of the injury situation today as Ben Roethlisberger sat out after getting his foot stepped on Saturday. A few other updates are included on Curtis Brown, LaMarr Woodley and Isaac Redman, but really that is all there

With the second Saturday of training camp for the Pittsburgh Steelers now in the books, I fly solo for about 15 minutes tonight and recap the news and notes from day 11 at Latrobe. We go over the main highlights reported by the media on Saturday and that includes the goal-line drill.
Injuries continue to mount at the linebacker position with both Ryan Baker and Brandon Johnson both apparently suffering ankle injuries of some sorts. The outside linebacker lines are already short enough, so if either of those two players are expected to be down for more than a few days, we could see another roster

Season 3, Episode 2 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start off the show by going over the new five-year contract extension given to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown last week and what this means or doesn't mean to restricted free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace moving forward. We discuss all of the options that Wallace has now moving forward, really none now that Kevin Colbert announced trading him was not an option, and how most are overlooking the threat of franchise tag as part of the hardball the Steelers are playing with him.
We move on to talk
