After a four day weekend the Steelers returned to work on Tuesday in preparation for the New England Patriots. Mike Tomlin addressed the media at noon for his weekly press conference. Tomlin opened up with an injury report. Cornerback Bryant McFadden is questionable and should practice this week as he tries to recover from a broken forearm. Injury wise, Tomlin said running back Willie Parker tweeked his knee again and they will not know more on him until Friday. Colts came up with 3 turnovers, while the Steelers came away with none. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin had a brief press conference following the 23-6 win over the Washington Redskins. Tomlin said more will be known about starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Tuesday. Tomlin stated that Roethlisberger could have returned to the game if needed, but Tomlin felt it was best to keep him on the sideline with his injured right shoulder. Tomlin said it was great having Willie Parker back at running back and thought he looked good.
