Mike Tomlin held his post game press conference following the Steelers 17-13 win this afternoon at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tomlin said it was great to get the win but not the type of finish they were looking for. Obviously they will take it. Tomlin acknowledges they did not play the style of football they like to play in the second half. Mike Tomlin held his post-game press conference following the Steelers 33-17 win over the Carolina Panthers Thursday night on the road in Charlotte. Tomlin said in 47 seconds that he was impressed by the effort tonight and virtually came out of the game injury free. Tomlin said he exercised caution with all of the players that were nicked up with minor injuries as he wanted to take a look at unproven players tonight anyways. Mike Tomlin held his post-game press conference following the Steelers 34-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons Saturday night at Heinz Field. Tomlin said quarterback Byron Leftwich broke his left arm and will be out for an extended amount of time. Tight end Miguel Chavis tore his left pectoral muscle. Center Maurkice Pouncey aggravated his left ankle, but the injury is not deemed serious.
