Alan Robinson of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Wednesday via Twitter that linebacker Stevenson Sylvester was off limits to the media today and that he was told not to discuss his knee injury. According to both Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Tim Benz of 105.9 The X, Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Casey Hampton recently had his left elbow "fixed". Hampton is currently wearing a cast of some sorts and still expects to be ready for the season opener against the Denver Broncos. The veteran nose tackle reportedly wouldn't say what kind of procedure he had performed on the elbow. The good news that he offered up is that he said that his surgically repaired knee is fine. Below are my offensive line grades and breakdown of the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-24 preseason game win Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts. I always like to disclaimer that not knowing the exact play call and assignments on each play makes it tough, especially with the normal TV angles. It will not be surprising if we haven't heard the least of the decision made Sunday night by the Pittsburgh Steelers that allowed running back Chris Rainey to return to game against the Indianapolis Colts after he suffered an apparent head injury. Harrison had a minor scope procedure performed last week on his left knee which was rumored to have involved removing a bone spur from behind his knee cap.
