Steelers Work Out 4 Players Tuesday

The Steelers worked out four players on Tuesday according to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports. Wide receivers Markee White and Andy Fantuz worked out along with linebackers Alex Hall and Harry Coleman. White is 6'7 and is probably best known as the Arena Bowl XXIII Offensive player of the game for the Spokane Shock. He last played for the Hartford Colonials of the UFL. Fantuz is 6'4 and last played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League where he hauled in 87 catches for 1380 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ed Bouchette reports that running back Frank Summers has been working out daily and is recovering nicely from back surgery. Summers could be in the plans as a short yardage guy if he has a great camp. Bouchette also reports that head coach Mike Tomlin is not high on USC safety Taylor Mays and that with the offseason signings and re-signings, the Steelers no longer have an interest in drafting a safety on the first round.
