Santonio Holmes attorney, Adam B. Swickle, claims no one threw a liquor glass at a woman in the Orlando nightclub. Swickle has sent evidence that suggest a glass wasn't even thrown that night at Anshonae Mills. Swickle did not reveal what specific information he sent to investigators, but he does sound pretty convincing. The woman that is suing Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes over a March 7th nightclub incident has changed her mind and now wants criminal charges filed against him. Anshonae Mills originally declined to press charges and stated that she didn't want to get Holmes in trouble. Police have decided to re-activate the case that was closed on Tuesday of this week. Holmes' lawyer is turning up the heat as well. Looks like another soap opera like story line that will play out through the Summer. As reported yesterday afternoon, Orlando police Sgt. Barbara Jones said Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes will not be charged in connection with a March 7 altercation at the Rain Ultra Lounge in Orlando. The case has been closed since Anshonae Mills declined to press charges after talking with a police officer. Sounds like a settlement was made, but at this point I am happy no criminal charges are being brought. We shall see how this plays out going forward.
