Steelers Cardinals Week 7 Offensive Line Breakdown Report


My offensive line breakdown from the week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals is complete and I was fooled a bit from my initial views. I stated earlier that I thought it was a roller coaster type performance, but after going through it thoroughly, I found a pretty consistent showing. I think the play of Chris Kemoeatu made it seem like the line was worse than what it actually was. While I thought the run blocking was adequate, there were not huge holes or big creases as the Cardinals did a great job of avoiding second level traffic and did a good job loading the box to outnumber interior blockers. Steelers Sign UDFA C Bradley Vierling From Vanderbilt

As I noted this morning in my around the web segment, it appeared as if Vanderbilt center Bradley Vierling would be signed as an undrafted free agent. According now to the Tennessean, Vierling signed a free-agent football contract with the Steelers on this morning. The Steelers liked his versatility and how he worked against Tennessee nose tackle Dan Williams. If indeed this signing holds, that would push the Steelers roster to 91 players. Read more [...]

Steelers Six From Around The Web – Wednesday February 24th

A big thumbs up to all that supported Steelers Depot in the 2010 Pittsburgh Sports Blog Tournament. I think we surprised a ton of folks by making it to the final 4. Steelers Will Not Draft A Nose Tackle In Round 1

Super Bowl media day is here, the Senior Bowl has come and gone. The NFL combine is just three weeks away and I have enough info to make my first huge prediction for the 2010 draft concerning the Steelers. The Steelers will not draft a nose tackle in round 1.
