The top list is being billed as the first-ever countdown of the 100 Best NFL players of today, as voted on by fellow NFL players. Ed Bouchette reports that running back Frank Summers has been working out daily and is recovering nicely from back surgery. Summers could be in the plans as a short yardage guy if he has a great camp. Bouchette also reports that head coach Mike Tomlin is not high on USC safety Taylor Mays and that with the offseason signings and re-signings, the Steelers no longer have an interest in drafting a safety on the first round.
