The Steelers have until 4:00 PM Tuesday to get their preseason roster trimmed down to 75 players from 80. I am listing 5 players I believe could be the first 5 out the door in Tuesday roster cuts. Two players they could move to injured reserve are DT Steve McClendon (knee) and T Chris Scott, but I think they want to place Scott on reserve PUP to start the season and McClendon gets another week to get healthy before they make a decision. Steelers safety Troy Polamalu gave a great interview to Tom Robinson of the Virginian-Pilot while he was in town for the William and Mary football camp. Polamalu said, owners would be selfish to lock out players for the 2011 season saying, "America needs football.
