CBSSports.com Senior Writer Pete Prisco named Steelers safety Troy Polamalu the league's most-overrated player on Thursday so I think it deserves a rebuttal by breaking down the post of Prisco. Prisco states that the Packers exposed Polamalu in the Super Bowl and says he isn't great in coverage. It has just been announced that Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu has been named the AP NFL Defensive Player Of The Year. Polamalu played in 14 games this year for the Steelers where he recorded 63 total tackles. The Ravens might of helped quarterback Ben Roethlisberger out by breaking his nose early. He probably forgot how bad his foot hurt. He looked full of adrenaline tonight and sailed several throws he normally makes. In crunch time though, he used the Houdini to get rid of the ball and avoid a sack. Steelers defensive line coach John Mitchell says he feels great about the defensive line going into camp. Starters Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton and Brett Keisel are all healthy and in great shape while Ziggy Hood should be able to contribute more this year as he is playing with better pad level, using his hands better and staying on his feet more this offseason.
