Emmanuel Sanders fractured his foot in the Super Bowl and will need surgery according to a post on his Facebook page.
Speaking of Sanders, offensive coordinator Bruce Arians thought the foot injury Sanders suffered that knocked him from the game played a factor. It caused the Steelers to shuffle personnel in their multiple-wideout sets.

I am not 100% sure that James Harrison wrote this or not or if it was written by an employee of his or a volunteer of his foundation. It was on his Facebook page and is a great read nonetheless. You need to be the judge of it's authenticity or validity. Here is what is to believed to be his official Fan Page on Facebook.
I’m going to rant one good time and get it over with. So the NFL says they are extremely worried about player safety, right? But the League wants to add two more games and make it an 18 game season even though they are fully aware of the physical toll playing the game takes

If you believe the news today from Bob Smizik in the Post Gazette, ESPN 1250 Sports radio in Pittsburgh will continue with a sports format until the end of the year and then switch to Radio Disney. This means they will only carry ESPN national programming almost exclusively until Dec. 31. On Jan. 1, the station will switch to Radio Disney. This means the weekday shows of Stan and Guy, The Drive, with Scott Paulsen, Mike Logan and Chris Mack and Stillers 360, with Ken Laird could be ripped from the air as soon as next week.
I urge everyone to take to Twitter and use the hashtag #SaveESPN1250

A pleasant surprise emerged on Twitter Friday as Steelers All-Everything safety Troy Polamalu tweeted for the first time. In his inaugural Tweet, Polamalu said, "Neither sound or light can escape todays social network I dont know why I thought I could but today I surrender to the tweeting revolution." In 9 short hours of his first Tweet, Polamalu had over 7500 followers and climbing on the social media giant. If you are expecting Tweets from the locker room, late night U-Stream videos or off color quotes about team turmoil, you are not going to find it coming from Polamalu. He is a very humble,

Joe Linta, the agent for Steelers offensive tackle Willie Colon, was interviewed by The FAN’s John Seibel on Wednesday to discuss how the surgery on Colon went and his furture going forward as he will remain a restricted free agent going into 2011. The injury has devastated Colon who was looking at a chance at his one huge pay day, should he have had a good season this year. You have to feel bad for poor Willie as he was hurt by the NFL not having a CBA in place this year as we mentioned a few days ago.

The kids attending Coach Mike Tomlin's youth football camp at Mars Area High School got a surprise visit from Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Wednesday. While it was most definitely a great PR move by Big Ben, he made it clear that it's his intention to be back next year as well. Little things like this will add up over time and restore his character to the fans and the team.
