Every Sunday night and Monday morning the hot topic of discussion as of late is the Top 100 Players of 2011 rankings that the NFL Network is currently doing. The players were voted on and ranked reportedly by all of the players in the league and the network is releasing 10 a week as they count backwards from 100 to 1. The injury report and practice participation report is the same as the one turned in on Wednesday. Two of the most pressing offseason things the Steelers will need to do, outside of the draft and free agency, is to get contract extensions done with wide receiver Santonio Holmes and linebacker LaMarr Woodley. Both players enter 2010 with it being their final years on their contracts. Losing 5 straight games and falling almost completely out of playoff contention has put head coach Mike Tomlin a position to see exactly what type of coach he is.
