Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel is at the Super Bowl this week and making the rounds on radio row as part of a promotion with Head and Shoulders. While filming the latest Troy Polamalu Head and Shoulders commercial that featured Brett Keisel and Hines Ward cameo appearances, Ward evidently took the opportunity to teach both Polamalu and Keisel some dance moves he learned on Dancing with the Stars. You can clearly see that both Polamalu and Keisel are no threat to winning the mirror ball trophy any time soon or upstaging Ward as the one of the best dancers on the team. The latest Head and Shoulders commercial is out with Troy Polamalu and it includes Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel, wide receiver Hines Ward and The Beard. Polamalu ask Keisel and Ward who used up the rest of his shampoo and Keisel blames the bald-headed Ward as his beard is blowing in the air. Ward of course calls Keisel a lying fool. Pretty funny. As part of a Head and Shoulders promotion, Steelers safety Troy Polamalu had some fun scaring some unsuspecting fans at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. Polamalu pretended to be a wax still version of himself in full Steelers uniform and came alive when visitors would stop to take a picture with what they thought was a life size wax version of him. A new video has surfaced on Youtube and it shows the million dollar hair of Steelers safety Troy Polamalu getting buzzed by clippers. It truly is Troy as you can plainly see and I also notice his brother-in-law Alex Holmes sitting on the couch as the clipper bandit enters the trailer. I believe this was shot during the latest Head and Shoulders commercial shoot and I am pretty sure this is a staged prank as there is no way this could happen. NFLshop.com announced today that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu No. 43 jersey was the top-selling NFL players jersey over the last fiscal year that runs from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011. In addition, the Steelers came in second in team merchandise sales during that same period of time and were beat out only by the Packers. It should be no surprise that Mike Tomlin is not against kicking tackle Willie Colon inside to guard. We have mentioned it several times here on this very blog as a possibility. This of course assumes he does not leave via free agency. The longer the labor dispute goes, the better the chance that Colon could be deemed a restricted free agent and sign that tender given him. Word has surfaced that Troy Polamalu missed practice today because his wife Theodora was giving birth to their second child. We are efforting word from family and hope to have it soon. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not be permitted to have contact with the Steelers once the season starts, but has said he plans to bring in his own with private quarterbacks coach, Steve Clarkson, from California to work with during his suspension.
