Charlie Batch will be inducted into the Eastern Michigan University Athletic Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2009. The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the EMU Student Center. Batch was named first team All-Mid-American Conference in 1995 and was EMU’s Most Valuable Player in 1997. Steeler strong safety Troy Polamalu is back playing football. Well sort of. Polamalu played a pick-up game of street football with some kids in Maryvale, Arizona. Steeler Nation lost a little angel on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, as Heather Sue Miller passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Heather visited one of the Steelers mini camps last year.
