The NFL Pro Bowl voting is now open and you can vote online for your favorite Steelers player. Lawrence Timmons deserves a trip to Hawaii as do a few others on the team. Vote early and make sure your friends vote too. All the money is being totaled up that was sent in to show support for the James Harrison fine and will be sent to Harrison's charity, Sacks For Kids. Steelers 2010 Season Preview & Prediction

Opening Statement: So much has happened since the final 2009 season game against Miami and the start of the season must be a welcome sight for the Steelers players and coaches. Steelers right outside linebacker James Harrison, inside linebacker James Farrior and wide receiver Antwaan Randle El are not in uniform and won’t play against the Carolina Panthers tonight. Lawrence Timmons will start in place of Harrison and the starting inside linebackers will be Keyaron Fox and Larry Foote. Also sitting out tonight is left cornerback Bryant McFadden, defensive tackle Steve McLendon and tackle Chris Scott who is on the reserve PUP list.

Lawrence Timmons On Tap For Huge Year

Lawrence Timmons said on Wednesday in an interview that he knows where the money is and it lies in the sack stat column. Timmons is shooting for double digit sacks in 2010 after recording 7 in 2009. According to a recent blog post of his, Timmons says he has been working out like a dog so camp will be easy for him and that he is in some serious shape. Timmons was inactive for two games in 2009 and also slowed all season with an ankle injury, but it did not stop him from putting up a strong year.
