Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark announced on Twitter tonight that he will attempt to change his number from 25 to 21 if running back Mewelde Moore does not return in 2012. Moore will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The number switch is a tribute to Sean Taylor, a good friend and former teammate of Clark's when he was with the Washington Redskins. The Pittsburgh Steelers have promoted running back Chad Spann to the 53 man roster on Tuesday from the practice squad and signed running back Albert Young to the vacant spot on the practice squad. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said in his post game press conference following the 13-9 win over the Cleveland Browns that the knee injury suffered by running back Rashard Mendenhall in the first half is likely not good.
