Steelers 2010 Mock Draft

Below is my 2010 Steelers mock draft for the upcoming NFL draft on April 23rd, 24th & 25th. Unless anything major happens in the next few days like trades, suspensions or earthquakes, I will be sticking with this mock draft as my official mock. Another day now and things are beginning to look a little better for Ben Roethlisberger as his accuser is not showing up for interviews and not being cooperative. Looks like she had a little to drink that night as well. OK, a lot to drink. Duke University wide receiver coach Scottie Montgomery has accepted a similar position with head coach Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers. An official announcement is expected in the coming days. Montgomery is expected to fill the coaching role vacated by Randy Fichtner when Fichtner was promoted to quarterbacks coach a few weeks ago. Montgomery entered the NFL in 2000 as a rookie free agent with the Carolina Panthers and went on to play for the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders. The Steelers promoted Randy Fichtner from wide receivers coach to quarterbacks coach on Tuesday. Fichtner takes over the role of Ken Anderson, who retired shortly after the end of the 2009 season. Fichtner coached quarterbacks at three different places in the college ranks – from 1990-93 at Memphis, from 1997-2000 at Arkansas State and from 2001-06 at Memphis when he also was the offensive coordinator.
