Steelers 2010 Pre Season Schedule

The Steelers will play one nationally televised preseason game and will host the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field during the 2010 preseason, the team announced Wednesday. The Steelers will open the 2010 preseason at home against the Detroit Lions the weekend of Aug. 13-15. Below are the opponents on the Steelers 2010 schedule. The Steelers of course will play all 3 teams in the AFC North twice. They will play all 4 teams in the AFC East and all 4 teams in the NFC South. The 2 remaining games will be determined following week 17 as the Steelers would play the Titans and Raiders if the season ended today. I will add the final 2 opponents following week 17. 2009 Steelers Training Camp Schedule

The Steelers announced their 2009 training camp schedule today. The team will report to training camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe on July 31st and will hold their first practice on August 1st. All afternoon practices are open and begin at 2:55 p.m. The only night practice will take place Aug. 7 at Latrobe Memorial Stadium. Ravens Do Not Want Primetime Game Versus Steelers

The Baltimore Ravens recently submitted a schedule request to the NFL that their games against in Steelers in 2009 not be nationally televised games. It has become customary that the Super Bowl champion open up the following NFL season with a prime-time, nationally televised game, but the Ravens want no part of it. The Ravens have played primetime games at Pittsburgh three of the past four seasons and have lost three times.
