Sources: Pouncey Contract Close To Completion

The Steelers are inching closer to a contract with 1st round pick Maurkice Pouncey and agent Joel Segal, sources tell Steelers Depot. Negotiations have picked up steam the last few hours and have been aided by the recent signings of Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon and the Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain. Witherspoon was drafted one pick after Pouncey at number 19 overall and received a 5-year, $17.5 million max deal that includes $10.5 million in guaranteed monies.
