Day one was excellent in my opinion for the Steelers when they drafted Florida offensive linemen Maurkice Pouncey. Pouncey fit a need can contribute right away more than likely and is versatile. Day 2 of the draft in my opinion was not as fruitful. They started with talk that the Steelers wanted to move up in round 2. Smoke screen? Perhaps, but one really never knows for sure. Either it was a smoke screen or the price was just too much.
In my opinion things were going the perfect way for the Black and Gold as a few players were sliding down the board. A lot of the fan base was hoping for Golden

When the month of March started, it seemed that the Steelers very well might look to the 2010 NFL draft to solidify their wide receiver depth. At that time the Steelers had 7 receivers on their roster with only Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes and Mike Wallace being sure things. The other 4 receivers at the time included the troubled Limas Sweed and 3 inexperienced, training camp bodies. You could also add Stefan Logan to the list if you really wanted, but for all practical purposes he is merely a specialist.

Steelers running back coach, Kirby Wilson, told the B.C. Lions player personnel director Roy Shivers they can forget about getting running back, Stefan Logan back. "Kirby told me to forget about him," Shivers said at the Lions training camp Friday. "They like him and they've moved him to slotback. The idea is that they can get him the ball in space and everything. He's opening some eyes. The veterans have gravitated toward him because he's shown stuff in mini-camps. And they plan to use him as a kick returner, too. Kirby told me, 'You're probably not going to get him back.' "

The Steelers have agreed to a two year future contract with B.C. Lions running back Stefan Logan. The two-year deal with will be signed on Friday. There is no significant signing bonus in the deal, but that fact does not bother the South Dakota product. "I'm not worried about that," Logan told TSN. "They told me I had a good opportunity to make the team as a starting kick and punt returner and as a third down back." Logan had a breakout campaign in his first year in the CFL and was among the league leaders in rushing yards with 889 yards on just 122 carries. He also caught 52 passes for 477
